A Scientific Campaign
In the beginning of 2015 I was completed my master´s course in WebScience at the University of Applies Science in Cologne with a master’s thesis in the fields of persuasive design. As I like both fields – science and creativity – i wanted to combine them in a paper and exemplify how both fields can benefit from each other.
I decided to apply the campaign to charities and find out how they can profit from the thesis´ findings. In specific, I choose the area of AIDS foundations as I used to be involved here as a volunteer and regard their word as highly underrated: They not only provide prevention and immediate aide people living with HIV and AIDS but are often vital parts of their community, fight against stigmatization and are involved in debates around health in general
